MINSK, 17 July (BelTA) – Moldova and Belarus will be able to find shared interests anyway, Moldova President Igor Dodon said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“I think we will be able to find shared interests in any case,” said Igor Dodon. “There are concrete projects that are implemented in Moldova today. We assemble Belarusian trolleybuses in Chisinau, Belarusian tractors. These products can be exported duty-free to the EU markets,” he said.
“There are many interesting projects. They just need to be considered carefully and promoted,” Igor Dodon said. He also added that Belarus and Moldova should considerably increase mutual trade within the next year or two.
