MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – The visit of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko to the United Arab Emirates took place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UAE Andrei Luchenok told the Belarus 1 TV channel on 10 November, BelTA has learned.
“It is important that the meetings were really candid and friendly. The Emirati friends tried not to overburden the program with excessive formalities. I would like to emphasize that such a level of involvement during official visits to the UAE is pretty rare. Such a narrative happens only between closest friends,” Andrei Luchenok said.
During his visit to the UAE, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Vice President, Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and National Security Advisor Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
