Defense minister: MILEX 2023 will open up new opportunities for international cooperation

MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) -  MILEX 2023 will open up new opportunities for international cooperation, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said in the official address to the participants of the 11th edition of the international arms and defense technology expo MILEX 2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

"The international arms and defense technology expo MILEX 2023 is already a traditional forum of arms and defense technology manufacturers, research institutes, design bureaus, trading companies and firms from dozens of countries. The exhibition is a unique platform contributing to increasing innovations and investments in arms and defense technology design and modernization and promoting the use of advanced technologies," Viktor Khrenin believes.

According to the defense minister, the exhibition provides an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their achievements and technological potentials. Traditionally, the exhibition will feature a wide range of samples of military and dual-use products. Technical characteristics, various programs for the modernization of weapons and hardware meet the advanced requirements.

"Part of the exhibits are already in service in the Republic of Belarus and a number of other states. I am sure that MILEX 2023 will demonstrate the latest engineering achievements and samples of special means and weapons used to ensure the security of the state and will open up new opportunities for international cooperation," Viktor Khrenin is convinced.
