MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Cooperation between Belarus and Ukraine will allow the two countries advance joint products to the EU market, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich said in an interview to the ONT TV channel on 28 October, BelTA informs.
“Ukraine has an Association Agreement with the European Union, and, thus, opportunities to promote products to the EU market. This is an opportunity for us as well. Those cooperation ties that our countries had before are opening up in a new quality. Industrial cooperation envisages long-term development,” said Vladimir Ulakhovich.
The 1st Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine took place in Gomel on 25-26 October. Belarusian and Ukrainian companies signed contracts worth more than $100 million.
