SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 15 September (BelTA) – The construction of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone proceeds ahead of schedule, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin said during his visit to the park on 15 September, BelTA has learned.
Anatoly Kalinin said the park is built quickly, efficiently and with the highest quality standards. He pointed out that some of the facilities that at the beginning of the year were only on the paper, have by now entered the final stage of their construction.
“The industrial park is growing at a rapid pace. Our Chinese partners perform the construction works ahead of schedule. In general, the works proceed twice faster than planned. Belarusian construction workers, subcontractors contribute to this,” Anatoly Kalinin said.
The official believes that in the future, the results of the work of the park will influence considerably the Belarusian economy. The government also expects that the investment project will be a significant source of revenue for the state budget.
Minsk and Minsk Oblast are hosting a nationwide workshop to study the best practices of property management and design and construction of public buildings, residential blocks, engineering and transport infrastructure. Anatoly Kalinin is among the participants.
