BEIJING, 16 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Chinese industrial park Great Stone is a big project of bilateral cooperation, Liu Bin, Deputy Secretary General of the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told the media, BeltA has learned.
“Great Stone is the largest project of and a bright moment in our bilateral contacts,” Liu Bin said. He pointed to the rapid construction of the park and noted that several large famous Chinese enterprises have become the park’s resident companies. “The amount of Chinese investment in the park has been growing markedly. I believe that Great Stone can become a true bridge for all-round Belarus-China partnership,” the Chinese official added.
Liu Bin also commended the level of bilateral ties. In his words, he has been to Belarus several times, and the country and its hardworking people have left the best impression on him. “You have a very powerful industrial and agricultural infrastructure,” Liu Bin underlined.
In the run-up to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China due to begin on 18 October, China is hosting numerous international meetings meant to draw attention to the country’s large-scale achievements over the past five years.
