MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – The prospects for the development of Belarus-China relations were high on the agenda of the meeting between Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov and Vice President of the People's Republic of China Wang Qishan ahead of the official talks at the Belarusian government on 28 May, BelTA has learned.
“We have discussed many issues already, but still have a lot to discuss. We hope that our talks will be held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
China’s Vice President Wang Qishan expressed confidence that today’s talks will be fruitful. In his words, the agreements reached with Belarus will be fulfilled.
The Chinese vice president is on an official visit to Belarus on 27-29 May. This is Wang Qishan’s first official foreign visit as China’s vice president.
