MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – Open and sincere dialogue is a symbol of the Belarusian-Chinese relations, China Daily reporter Ren Qi said after the meeting of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko with representatives of Chinese central and regional mass media, participants of a press tour of Belarus, on 4 May, BelTA has learned.
“The meeting was a pleasant and friendly conversation between the President and our mass media. The head of state noted that Belarus and China maintain a very high level of cooperation and partnership in various areas. I liked that Alexander Lukashenko’s answers were very sincere, and we are grateful for this open dialogue. I think that this dialogue is a symbol of our Belarusian-Chinese partnership relations and demonstrate a high level of cooperation between the two countries,” Ren Qi said.
According to the journalist, this is his first visit to Belarus. He has already seen a number of Belarusian companies, got familiar with the country’s landmarks and its capital. “I was impressed with the country's clean air, beautiful nature and your friendly attitude to us. I and my colleagues went shopping yesterday evening. We watched how you people live, what your stores look like and what beautiful streets you have. We were really impressed with your urban culture, with its calm and relaxed pace of life,” he said.
