MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) – We need to promote Belarus as an IT national in the international arena, Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko said at the closing of the fourth session of the House of Representatives of the sixth convocation of the National Assembly of Belarus on 29 June, BelTA has learned.
“Our main priorities in the field of international cooperation are to promote the image of Belarus as an IT nation in the international arena, to advance the idea of deepening economic integration on the continent, to support the initiative to restart the Helsinki Process on the principles of trust and cooperation,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
The recent visit of a high parliamentary delegation of India to Belarus is a case in point, Vladimir Andreichenko noted. This country is a recognized leader in the field of high technologies. It is committed to the ideas of peace and would like to strengthen cooperation. Mutual willingness to work in these and many other areas was enshrined in the cooperation agreement which was signed during the visit.
