SOCHI, 1 December (BelTA) - Belarus and Mongolia should intensify the bilateral cooperation, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said as he met with Mongolia Deputy Prime Minister Ulzisaikhan Enkhtuvshin, BelTA has learned.
Andrei Kobyakov noted that over the 25 years that have passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Belarus and Mongolia have developed a good framework for fruitful contacts. The countries successfully cooperate in agriculture, education, science and technology, and are mulling over cultural exchange. The Belarusian brands such BelAZ, MTZ and others are well-known in Mongolia.
“It is time we stepped up our cooperation,” said the Belarusian head of government.
Ulzisaikhan Enkhtuvshin, for his part, reaffirmed Mongolia's commitment to the development of relations with Belarus. “We have a historical background for this,” he emphasized
