MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – The nationwide contest 100 Ideas for Belarus shows that the state has established efficient cooperation with young people, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Buzovsky told reporters on 15 February, BelTA informs.
“Every year the contest brings together more and more ambitious young people and even those who did not even think of devising innovations to help people to fulfill their dreams and be useful for the state. The projects that are on display today are a beacon of efficient cooperation between young people and the state supporting aspiring scientists,” said Igor Buzovsky.
The Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration said that the youth initiatives are far from being fantastic or ‘infected’ with youthful maximalism. “These are feasible ideas which can benefit an enterprise or the whole industry. Such projects are by right appreciated by the Belarusian academic community and the state. I sincerely hope that the ideas of young people will be fulfilled and will not be limited to presentations at expositions,” added Igor Buzovsky.
He stressed that the projects displayed at the previous 100 Ideas for Belarus contests helped the country save resources, promote import substitution in a number of fields, and spur the development of certain industries.
