Breakthrough at Minsk talks on Ukraine
MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – A breakthrough that people have been waiting for since 12 February was secured in Minsk on 6 May, BelTA learned from Denis Pushilin, a representative of the self-declared People’s Republic of Donetsk.
“A breakthrough has been secured. Possibly everyone has been waiting for it since the package of measures was signed on 12 February. The subgroups were launched and started working rather productively,” said Denis Pushilin.
In his words, the views were agreed on the whole. Denis Pushilin said he hopes that a new stage will begin and it will be possible to fill the operation of the subgroups with something constructive. “Respectively a full-value armistice is getting closer,” he stressed.
