ASHGABAT, 30 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Turkmenistan are strong supporters of peace, stability and security, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow said as he met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 30 March, BelTA has learned.

“Turkmenistan has always considered Belarus as an important political partner, with the two countries implementing political ideas both in the bilateral format and within international organizations. The main thing, however, is that both the countries remain strong supporters of world peace, stability and security,” said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

In his words, Belarus and Turkmenistan stay committed to international law and agree that any international and domestic conflict should be resolved only with the help of peaceful and diplomatic means.
