ISLAMABAD, 6 October (BelTA) - Belarusian industrial enterprises intend to increase their presence on the market of Pakistan, Belarus’ Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk told reporters, BelTA has learned.
During the negotiations on 5 October, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif agreed to increase the bilateral trade to $1 billion within four years. Vitaly Vovk noted that Belarusian industrial enterprises should be working hard towards this goal. I think we have good prospects, given very good relations between the leaders of our countries, Vitaly Vovk noted.
The Industry Minister said that all large industrial enterprises of Belarus intend to branch out into the market of Pakistan and extend their presence on it. MTZ, BelAZ, MAZ, Bobruiskagromash and other enterprises have already signed arrangements with partners in Pakistan.
