MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Helsinki 2 initiative will be supported by many countries, Belarusian Honorary Consul in the USA Mikhail Morgulis said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learned.

“Helsinki 2 is a relevant topic. It will require much effort from many countries. This is the call of the time, and people from various countries will invest efforts into this project. I think it will bear fruit,” the consul said.

He also stressed that progress has been made in the relations between Belarus and the USA. “The main thing is economic cooperation. We hold events where Belarusian manufacturers, businessmen meet with American colleagues, sign contracts and earn money,” the diplomat added.
