MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarusfilm studio is ready for big international projects, Belarusfilm Director Vladimir Karachevsky said as he attended a meeting of Minsk's diplomatic spouses hosted by Vera Polyakova-Makei, the wife of the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs, on the occasion of the International Women's Day, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Karathevsky, Belarusfilm studio is now experiencing a renaissance after large-scale renovations and is ready to work on big projects. It has much to offer and is ready to provide its facilities to all those interested. Special attention is given to joint overseas projects. Belarusfilm already cooperates with colleagues from China, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the Baltic countries. Soon there will be a joint project with Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Vladimir Karachevsky expressed the hope that the spouses of the diplomats accredited in Minsk will assist with promoting Belarusian cinema and organizing new joint projects.
