MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin as the country celebrates Russia Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This holiday unites all people who are proud of the heroic past of the country, responsibly build its future. The commitment of the Russian government to develop modern Russia, ensure its stable social and economic growth and the enhancement of positions on the international arena is widely supported by Russians,” the head of state said.
“People in the Republic of Belarus value the relations of brotherly friendship and strategic partnership with the Russian Federation. Belarus and Russian implement large-scale integration projects in the best interests of our peoples together,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
