MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – India is grateful to Belarus for support in international organizations, outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Pankaj Saxena said during his farewell courtesy call on Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 13 March, BelTA has learned.
“The governments of our two countries maintain good contacts in international organizations, and we are grateful to Belarus for the support in the international arena,” the diplomat said. Pointing to a high level of Belarus-India cooperation, the ambassador noted: “We have no unsolved issues in the bilateral relations.” The diplomat stressed that the period of his diplomatic mission in Minsk was marked by a number of milestone events, including Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to India in September 2017. The visit contributed to the detailed elaboration of new projects and agreements at the supreme level.
“These agreements added a new impetus to the Belarusian-Indian ties,” Ambassador Pankaj Saxena said.
The ambassador added that India “stays committed to the Belarusian-Indian agreements reached during the Belarusian president’s visit to India.”
