MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to expand cooperation with Vietnam in every area, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told media on 22 October, BelTA informs.
Belarus views cooperation with Vietnam as one of its foreign policy priorities in the Asian region and seeks full-fledged strategic partnership. “Belarus highly appreciates the friendship with the Vietnamese people and praises the momentum in the comprehensive bilateral relations. We are ready to further expand cooperation with our Vietnamese partners in every area of mutual interest,” said Dmitry Mironchik.
According to Dmitry Mironchik, on 26-27 October Minsk will play host to a regular meeting of the Belarusian-Vietnamese intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation. The parties will take stock of the progress made in the development of bilateral cooperation in various areas in 2015. The commission will also analyze the implementation of the Belarus-Vietnam economic cooperation program for 2013-2015, coordinate tasks in trade, industry, agriculture, science, education, culture and other areas. Representatives of the Belarusian companies jointly with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold talks with the business part of the Vietnamese delegation at a business matchmaking session.
