MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – Efforts of the Belarus president towards a peaceful resolution of the crisis in Ukraine resonate positively with the international community, BelTA learned from Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, on the first day of the spring session of the lower chamber of the Belarus parliament on 2 April.
“It contributes to the development of contacts with PACE. And we will continue working to establish a dialogue and build mutually beneficial relations with our Western colleagues,” added the head of the lower chamber of the Belarus parliament.
In his words, there is no need to explain the value of peaceful life to Belarusians. “We have paid a steep price for it. Therefore the resentment of forceful methods and the readiness to further a peaceful resolution of international problems are key principles of our foreign policy,” said Vladimir Andreichenko.
