MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko remarked that the relations between Belarus and Qatar relying on the principles of friendship and mutual trust are increasingly vibrant.

“I am convinced that against the backdrop of the current complicated international situation the expansion of Belarus-Qatar cooperation meets the interests of the two countries,” the message of greetings reads.
