MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your principled position in the domestic and foreign policy helps enhance the sovereignty of Venezuela and expand foreign trade ties,” the felicitation message reads.

The head of state stressed that Belarus views Venezuela as a strategic partner in Latin America. “I am convinced that by joint efforts we will fulfill our agreements within the shortest period of time,” the President remarked. “I hope for the further development of all-round relations between our countries.”
