MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – The triangle Minsk-Beijing-Islamabad can become a promising formula of cooperation. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement after negotiations with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Minsk on 10 August, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus is ready to seriously discuss opportunities of cooperation in implementing a number of major projects in Pakistan. Belarus is also ready to take part in creating a Pakistani-Chinese economic corridor.
“We just have to use the potential of our good relations — Belarus’ and Pakistan’s — with China. The triangle Minsk-Beijing-Islamabad can become a promising formula of cooperation taking into account the complementarity of each city in geographical and economic sense,” believes the Belarusian leader.
