MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Russia will create the most comfortable border crossing conditions for air passengers from Belarus, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said in an interview with the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We discussed this theme in great detail with Dmitry Medvedev. We agreed on the ways to make the crossing of the Belarusian-Russian border as comfortable as possible. Simply put, we discussed the ways to restore the state of affairs which we all got used to,” Andrei Kobyakov noted.
Relevant decisions have been taken, he said. “Instructions have been issued to the border control authorities of the Russian Federation, customs, heads of airports,” he said.
Andrei Kobyakov also recalled that the two countries have set up working groups to work on an agreement on mutual recognition of visas. The document will be signed before the end of the current year.
