MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to continue providing the full measure of support to the operation of the trilateral contact group on resolving the situation in Ukraine’s east. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei made the statement as he met with the OSCE chairperson-in-office’s special representative in the contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik on 4 October, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Ways to resolve the situation in Ukraine’s east and the implementation of the Minsk agreements were discussed during the meeting. Vladimir Makei mentioned the importance of the operation of the trilateral contact group and its subgroups. The official noted that the Belarusian side was ready to continue providing full support to the group’s operation.
