“I would like to emphasize Belarus’ active role in our integration work within the Commonwealth of Independent States. Belarus has always been a center of integration cooperation, the capital of the CIS, as it is sometimes called,” noted Sergei Lebedev, adding that almost every week representatives of the CIS member states meet in Minsk and other cities of Belarus to discuss issues of mutual importance and interest.
The Executive Secretary noted that he meets with the Belarusian authorities on a regular basis and sees how the country does its best to maintain friendly and good neighborly ties. “Today’s media forum proves once again that Belarus continues playing its active role in integration cooperation.
