CHISINAU, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Moldova have a big cooperation potential, Moldova Prime Minister Pavel Filip told reporters on 2 October, BelTA has learned.
“I am glad that we managed to organize an official visit of Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov. The visit gives an opportunity to discuss promising projects. The countries have a big cooperation potential,” Pavel Filip noted.
Moldova has a free trade agreement with the European Union, Belarus is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union. “By using right approaches and utilizing this potential, we will have mutually beneficial cooperation,” the Prime Minister of Moldova said.
In his words, the official visit of Andrei Kobyakov to Moldova is another testimony to the fact that there are partnership and friendly relations between the two countries. “These are not high-sounding words. I am speaking sincerely. When it was difficult for Moldova to sell products on the eastern market, Belarus was the partner who supported us. We have very good relations,” he concluded.
