MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – The latest European Parliament resolution on Belarus is another set of cliches, Anatoly Glaz, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told the media, BelTA has learned.
“The latest European Parliament resolution is another artificial set of cliches that disregards the objective reality and the experience of passing similar documents in the past. The only thing it does is diminishes the quality of the decisions adopted by this body. We understand why some outgoing European Parliament members want to play with the Belarusian theme. We understand it, but we do not share this point of view. It is meaningless,” Anatoly Glaz stressed.
“We suggest that the members of the European Parliament change the record because the dialogue between Belarus and European institutions has long had new tunes,” he said.
