BEIJING, 23 November (BelTA) – Belarus and China should step up cooperation in combating terrorism, transnational crime and drug trafficking, Meng Jianzhu, Secretary of Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China, said as he met with Belarusian Interior Minister Igor Shunevich.

Meng Jianzhu noted that law enforcement is an important component of the bilateral strategic cooperation.

For his part, Igor Shunevich said that Belarus is ready to expand and strengthen its cooperation with Chinese law enforcement agencies.
