MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) – The Architecture and Construction Ministry should roll out new proposals that will dramatically change the situation in the respective industry, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kukharev said as he introduced newly appointed Architecture and Construction Minister Dmitry Mikulenok to the team of the ministry, BelTA has learned.
“While announcing personnel decisions, the head of state set quite challenging tasks. We all know that the construction industry is facing issues that affect the entire economy, because construction has always been an economic driver. Therefore, a great chunk of work is to be done within a very short period of time. Two sessions chaired by the head of state will take place soon to discuss housing construction and general issues in this sector. The ministry should come forward with new ideas that will help reverse the situation in this industry. The team is experienced, professional, and competent and I believe that under the guidance of Dmitry Mikhailovich [Mikulenok] they will be able to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state,” Vladimir Kukharev said.
Dmitry Mikulenok thanked the president for his trust. “I know the team of the ministry and I believe that it is made of professionals. I think we will succeed. We will work on the tasks set for us,” he noted.
