MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador to China Kirill Rudy said in an interview to Belarus One TV channel why he called the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone the "Belarusian Hong Kong" in his new book, BelTA has learned.
Kirill Rudy emphasized that foreign investors bring not only money and technologies to the country. “It is of great importance if the world views coincide. The Chinese-Belarusian park Great Stone is in fact a separate territory in Belarus with an unprecedented tax regime. If foreign investors check this out and understand that they can bring big money there, it would be a great example for the whole country how to follow an economic policy,” he noted.
