MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) – The Minsk Agreements on Ukraine must be fulfilled, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, said at the formal opening of the 26th OSCE Annual Session in Minsk on 26 July, BelTA has learned.
The OSCE Chairman thanked the MPs for their work. “Conflicts in the OSCE is something we must focus on. I am referring to the conflict in Ukraine. The situation there is very serious,” he said. Sebastian Kurz stressed that the Minsk Agreements on Ukraine must be implemented. He also recalled the conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh and Transnistria.
He said he is grateful for the opportunity to address the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Minsk. “First of all, I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for the great organization of our session. I appreciate the fact that Minsk is trying to build bridges, and that it has become the venue of dialogue,” Sebastian Kurz emphasized.
