According to the minister, given the current developments, it is particularly important to maintain a dialogue. "When the dialogue stops, other means begin to speak, and it is not always good," said Liliya Ananich.
During all the years when the dialogue with the Council of Europe remained suspended, Belarus has demonstrated peacefulness and openness to the world, said the minister. Liliya Ananich noted that the visit will allow the guest to obtain a wealth of information on all issues, and the Information Ministry is ready for an open dialogue and discussion of the reciprocal steps towards rapprochement.
For his part, Andrea Rigoni noted that it is important not only to start the process of dialogue but to maintain it.
