MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – In the last two years Belarus and Slovakia have dramatically stepped up cooperation, Slovakia’s Ambassador to Belarus Joseph Migash said during a meeting with Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Rumas, BelTA has learned.
Joseph Migash drew attention to the fact that in the past two years, Belarusian-Slovak interaction, including the interstate and political relations, have been actively growing. The parties have held a series of important visits, signed documents of cooperation which are the roadmap of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. There is positive dynamics in trade. “Slovakia is happy about this,” he said.
The ambassador noted that he looks forward to the further development of relations between the two countries. In his opinion, this should be done through the implementation of projects in the priority areas outlined in the roadmap. These include energy, pharmaceuticals, engineering, agriculture, IT, education and science.
