MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Belarus is attracting growing interest from Georgian business, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Belarus Valeri Kvaratskhelia told the media on 7 August, BelTA has learned.
“Culture opens the road for economy. Tbilisoba festival is not an exception. It helps develop the economy of our countries. Belarus has become a modern trend for Georgian businessmen, for investment. Belarusian businessmen come to us too. They are lured by a great investment climate,” said Valeri Kvaratskhelia.
In his words, expensive logistics remains the only obstacle in the development of economic relations. With the Belarusian president’s instruction to consider more profitable options, Valeri Kvaratskhelia hopes the trade between the two countries will increase by about 40% by the end of the year.
