MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – There are all necessary conditions to expand trade and economic ties between Belarus and the Republic of Korea, Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas said as he spoke at a function on 2 October to mark National Foundation Day of South Korea, BelTA has learned.

He wished peace and tranquility to the Korean people. “We sincerely hope that the ideas of founding father, King Dangun of Korea will bring stability back, and that through diplomacy the once divided brothers will once again have a full family, their Korea. We are ready to help in every possible way,” Andrei Dapkiunas said.
As for cooperation between Belarus and the Republic of Korea, he said that at present there are all necessary conditions for its expansion, especially in the trade and economic sector. “We are confident that by joint efforts and strong will we will achieve great success in all areas of bilateral cooperation,” said the deputy minister of foreign affairs.
