LUXEMBOURG, 30 October (BelTA) – The agreements reached at the Belarusian-European Investment Forum should be fully implemented, Belarus’ Ambassador to Belgium with concurrent accreditation to Luxembourg Alexander Mikhnevich told the media on 27 October, BelTA has learned.

“The expectations from the forum have been met. There were a lot of people at the event. It is important now to have all the agreements, our promises and proposals from foreign participants fully implemented. These are big amounts of investments: billions of U.S. dollars. Even $10 million in some sector is a significant contribution since it helps address a certain economic task for our country,” noted Alexander Mikhnevich.

In his words, the embassy will monitor the implementation of the projects and will continue working on improving the image of Belarus in Europe.

“Forums are important. We need to advance the Belarusian image in different sectors. For instance, the agenda includes interesting ideas. Among them is the Belarusian Flax Week with a fashion show and the demonstration of manufacturing technologies. I think in this part of Europe it will be very popular,” said the ambassador.
