MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as the country celebrates the national holiday - the Day of the Establishment of the Federation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“I am convinced that the Belarus-UAE relations will continue to be a shining example of successful, mutually beneficial and lasting international cooperation," the message reads. "I hope that next year we will be able to realize the existing potential of the bilateral partnership and also to identify new promising projects in various industries,” he said.
The Belarusian president also sent greetings to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The cooperation between the countries has been growing at a higher pace, the head of state noted. “This year will go down in the history of the Belarus-UAE partnership as one of the most fruitful in terms of contacts at the highest and high levels, between ministries, other government bodies, and business communities ,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
