MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – The WHO often uses the achievements of the Belarusian health system as a good example for other countries, WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“The level of cooperation between the WHO and the Health Ministry and Belarus in general is excellent. We hope to continue it. We often use Belarus as an example of a good model for other countries,” said Zsuzsanna Jakab.
She also noted: "Every two years we sign a bilateral agreement. We are planning to sign a new agreement for 2016-2017. Priorities have already been identified and agreed with the Health Ministry.”
Zsuzsanna Jakab emphasized: "If we are to move forward together, we should use the same approach to the entire society with the participation of all stakeholders in order to improve the quality of life.”
