MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – China’s Zhejiang Province suggests developing cooperation in tourism to Minsk Oblast, Zhejiang Province Governor Li Qiang said as he met with Minsk Oblast Governor Semyon Shapiro on 11 May, BelTA informs.
Li Qiang told his Belarusian counterpart about the tourism potential of Zhejiang Province and its prospects, plans to increase the number of China’s visitors. He also expressed admiration of the Belarusian nature and suggested the Minsk Oblast authorities to jointly develop tourism.
The Zhejiang Province Governor stressed that the Chinese delegation had received a warm welcome in Minsk and thanked the Belarusian side for the organization of the visit. “We felt the hospitality of the Belarusian people,” he said. Li Qiang expressed hope for fruitful cooperation with Minsk Oblast.
In order to strengthen the reached agreements and determine the prospects of bilateral relations Li Qiang invited Semyon Shapiro to visit Zhejiang Province on an official visit. In turn, the Minsk Oblast Governor suggested organizing visits for cultural figures and journalists to Zhejiang Province and Minsk Oblast.
