ZENA to perform at Eurovision party in Amsterdam

MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) – The official representative of Belarus at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest ZENA will perform at the traditional Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam on 6 March, BelTA learned from the Belteleradiocompany national broadcaster.

The Netherlands will host the large-scale European promo event for the 11th time. Amsterdam will bring together almost all the participants of the upcoming song contest and ZENA will present her song Like It to the Eurovision viewers.

“The event in Amsterdam is the biggest Eurovision promo event. The official representatives of the participating countries will get acquainted with each other, perform their songs, talk with journalists who cover the popular song contest, and meet with the most devoted Eurovision fans from all of Europe,” the press service said.

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, in May. The semifinals will take place on 14 and 16 May, the final on 18 May. Belarus’ official representative ZENA will perform in the first part of the first semifinal. The TV channel Belarus 1 and the international satellite TV channel Belarus 24 will broadcast the show live.

Belteleradiocompany is responsible for preparing the participant from Belarus for the Eurovision Song Contest as Belarus’ only member of the European Broadcasting Union.
