VITEBSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The youth of Belarus’ Vitebsk and Russia’s Pskov have signed an agreement on cooperation, BelTA learned from the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union.
The agreement on youth cooperation was signed by representatives of the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union and the Pskov Oblast Organization of the Russian Union of Youth during the 6th Youth Forum of Belarus and Russia “Youth for the Union State” in Mogilev. The document will provide an additional opportunity to develop cooperation between the two youth organizations.
“The agreement will provide us with an opportunity to develop cultural, recreational and patriotic cooperation. The youth law-enforcement movement will get a new development vector. In December 2018 members of youth law-enforcement teams will have a chance to take part in the oblast youth counter-drugs forum Dobrovolye.60 in Pskov,” said acting First Secretary of the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Vyacheslav Khrol.
The 6th Youth Forum of Belarus and Russia “Youth for the Union State” is underway in Mogilev on 9-10 October. The forum has gathered representatives of youth and children’s public associations of Belarus and Russia, youth parliaments, including the Youth Chamber of the Parliamentary Union of Belarus and Russia, unions of young lawyers and entrepreneurs.
