Yang Ming-Yi’s works on display at National Art Museum

MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) - Ink and wash paintings of outstanding Chinese artist Yang Ming-Yi are on display at the National Art Museum in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

As was noted at the presentation, the artist’s works picture the beauty of the Chinese nature. Yang Ming-Yi’s artworks are a mixture of the Chinese traditional painting and new images and ways of communicating it.

The artist perfectly combines ink and etching. Yang Ming-Yi is a member of the China Artists Association, Vice President of the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy.

His works have won numerous awards. Yang Ming-Yi was named one of the ten greatest artists of the Year of Art in China (guo hua style) in 2010. 

The artist's works are on display in the National Art Museum of China, the China National Museum, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the British Museum in London.

The organizer of the event is the Belarusian confederation of creative unions.
