WTA rankings: Sabalenka remains at No.2

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka remained world number two in this week’s WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian goes with 6,891 points following her defeat in the Stuttgart Open final. Iga Swiatek of Poland extended her stay at No.1, maintaining a 2,084-point lead over Sabalenka. Former world number one Victoria Azarenka of Belarus is 16th with 2,237 points, Aliaksandra Sasnovich - 47th with 1,089 points. This week all three Belarusian athletes will make their appearances at the Madrid Open.
