MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – After winning the Australian Open title Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus kept her second position in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Aryna Sabalenka currently holds 8,905 points. World number one Iga Swiatek has 865 points more. Belarus’ Victoria Azarenka, who lost in the round of Last 16 in Melbourne, dropped 11 spots from the 22nd to 33rd with 1,471 points. Belarus’ Aliaksandra Sasnovich is 95th with 783 points.
