MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarusian wrestler Anton Kurs clinched bronze at the Senior U23 World Championships in Bucharest, Romania, BelTA has learned.

In the 87kg weight category the Belarusian defeated athletes from the United States and Finland. In the quarterfinal Anton Kurs lost to Daniel Hechavarria of Cuba. In the repechage Anton Kurs defeated Yoan Dimitrov from Bulgaria and Gazi Khalilov from Russia. Semoyn Novikov from Ukraine won gold.

The Senior U23 World Championships in Bucharest will be over on 18 November.
