MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – More than 80 works of contemporary artists from 25 countries will be on display in the Belarusian capital Minsk as part of the international exhibition of contemporary art From Lisbon to Vladivostok Through Minsk, BelTA learned from Minsk City Hall.
The exhibition will officially open at the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery on 21 December. Attending the event will be representatives of Minsk City Hall, the diplomatic service and the Culture Ministry.
The project was initiated by the Belarusian embassy in France to mark the Year of Culture in Belarus. The idea was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belarus’ embassies in the Eurasian countries, Minsk City Hall. The exhibition will be held under the auspices of the UNESCO.
The exhibition will stay open through 5 February 2017.
