MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – The winners of the children and youth film competition Listapadzik held as part of the 22nd Minsk International Film Festival Listapad have been announced, BelTA has learned.
The Invisible Boy (Italy, France) directed by Gabriele Salvatores was named Best Film for Children. Best Film for Youth Award was presented to I Give You My Word 2 (Russia, directed by Alexander Karpilovsky). Best Young Actor Award was given to Semyon Treskunov (I Give You My Word 2), Award for Best Adult Actor in Children’s Film – to Valeria Golino (The Invisible Boy).
Golden Kingdom (USA, Myanmar, directed by Brian Perkins) got Special Mention Diploma.
The competition program of Listapadzik 2015 included eight films from Belarus, Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, Estonia, Finland, the United States, Myanmar, Switzerland, and Canada. The international jury was chaired by Danish film director and screenwriter Christian Dyekjaer. It also comprised Alessia Scarso (Italy) and Mikhail Tumelya (Belarus).
The audience choice award – Golden Listapadzik – was given to Alexander Karpilovsky’s I Give You My Word 2.
The children and youth film competition Listapadzik was founded in 1998.
The 22nd Minsk International Film Festival Listapad marks the 120th anniversary of the world cinematography celebrated in 2015. This year’s edition of the festival is held under the slogan Eye of Pleasure from 6 through 13 November.
