VITEBSK, 20 July (BelTA) - Guests and participants accredited at the 2nd CIS Games will be able to visit the cultural sites of Vitebsk and Orsha free of charge, Deputy Head of Sport and Tourism at the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Denis Shkiryanov told BelTA.
"We offer a nice bonus for the guests, namely the sightseeing program. All participants will have the opportunity to take part in walk tours. All cultural objects such as museums, exhibitions, and so on will be open. Everyone who has accreditation of the 2nd CIS Games will be able to visit them for free," he explained.
Earlier, the Department of Sport and Tourism of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee reported that almost 25 walk routes have been developed ahead of the CIS Games in Vitebsk and Orsha. Most of them will cover the historical parts of the cities, highlighting the achievements of the region in different areas, including in sport, and cultural themes. The routes have been prepared for organized groups to other cities of Vitebsk Oblast and other regions. The organizers also stand ready to put together individual routes tailoring them to customer requests.
The 2nd CIS Games will be held in Belarus from 4 to 14 August. Vitebsk Oblast will host the Muay Thai event (Vitebsk) and the boxing tournament (Orsha).
