MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Polish citizens will be able to enter Belarus without visas through all the checkpoints on Belarus’ border with the European Union, reads a statement on the official Telegram channel of the State Border Committee of Belarus.
The new regulation will come into force at midnight on 2 March and will be in effect until 31 December 2023. The State Border Committee noted that the decision was prompted by the high demand for the visa-free entry. Thus, the country’s leadership decided to allow citizens of the Republic of Poland to enter Belarus without visas through all the checkpoints on the border with the European Union. It is noteworthy that before that Polish citizens could enter Belarus visa-free only through the Belarus-Poland section of the border.
